Emerald

Emerald lies approximately 270kms West of Rockhampton. With a population of around 13500 people it is the largest town out this way. Boasting 3 Shopping Centres and a major industrial area. There is so much to see and do here. On your way from Rockhampton you will pass through several small towns including: Dingo, Bluff, Blackwater and Comet. All have their little charms and have places to stop and rest.

This is the beautiful Train Station in Emerald, couldn't resist taking a photo. Established in 1900 it is one of many beautifully designed old buildings. 

My trip to Emerald was purely for pleasure and I spent many trips here just taking in the retail therapy and visiting coffee shops.
